General Meeting Minutes 3^rd February, 2005

Open Meeting: 8.42pm

Present: 17 members and friends in attendance.

Visitors: past members Lyn Duncan and Orlando Iluffi.

Apologies: Pete, Liz and Ern Reeders

Secretary Report: Flyers from Aussie Disc and Superbike School.

Treasurer’s Report: As at end of January there was $2000 in the bank.

Captains’ Report: Past and forthcoming rides previewed by Ron Johnston.

Previous Meeting: Ian read the minutes from the September 04 meeting.

General Business:

• The new itinerary for February to May is now available and apart from the usual variety we have the club trip to Tasmania in a couple of weeks!
• Our social sip venue, the Whitehorse Inn will officially close early March. Unfortunately many regulars will be away in Tasmania.The committee have a couple of alternative places to check out.
• Our membership has continued to grow with 71 financial members.
• Over the Anzac Weekend in April a couple of members are considering a trip to Sydney for a ride day at Eastern Creek. If interested contact Darryn or Dave.
• Our next meeting will be in May and it is also our AGM and the election of the committee. As some of the current members will not be standing, we will require replacements therefore please consider nominating!
• With no further business we were treated to an excellent audio/visual display of photos from recent club rides and weekends away – thanks Ben, Martin and Trevor.

Door Prize: Nigel – sponge, Ian – ear plugs, Martin – ocky straps.
