Sunday 4th       Walhalla                                                                                             Trevor Harris leading

                        10 am Berwick

While a few of us are swanning around the Apple Isle, Trevor will lead the mainlanders on the nearest thing to Tasmanian roads: a trip into Gippsland! From Berwick the ride will head through the Dandenong Ranges to Yarra Junction and around to Poweltown and Noojee for morning tea. On to Willow Grove and Moe for a break followed by Tyers and the good roads to Walhalla.  Then back to Moe and the Old Sale Road to Neerim. Break-up at Poweltown. Brilliant roads. Expect around 320 km for the day. Ride may not suit inexperienced riders or first time Club riders.

Sunday 11th     Mt Buninyong Fire Tower                                                                     Geoff Jones leading

10 am West Gate Shell Servo

We will head down the Freeway taking the last Werribee exit and work across town to open roads around the You Yangs and Anakie Juction, on the edge of the Brisbane Ranges. Then south to Pringle Road and around to Maude and up to Meredith for morning tea after an exhilarating 115 km.  Next hop is west to Mt Mercer and then due north to Buninyong where will visit the mountain and check out the fire tower before heading east to Mt Egerton and Gordon to cross the Western Highway on our way towards Spargo Creek and finally Daylesford for lunch. Two options spring to mind for the final leg: either across to Trentham and down to Blackwood, Bacchus Marsh to break up Diggers Rest or alternatively, across to Trentham and Woodend continuing east through Romsey to finish at Wallan.  Expect around 350 km for the day, depending on conditions and participants. Brilliant ride, brilliant roads. Don’t miss it.

Almost a “standard” ride: Chum Creek, Myers Creek, Healesville, Poweltown Noojee for morning tea. Baw Baw return to Noojee to recouperate.  Possible loop down through the Neerims and Jindivick to break up at Longwarry North or alternatively back to Powelltown.  Around 250 hard km for the day.
