Sunday 21st Highlands Rob Langer
leading
10.15
am Whittlesea
Join Rob, either on his BM
or trusty VFR, for an interesting and fun ride through the seldom traveled
country between Seymour and Yea, north of the highway. There is a 4 km stretch
of easy dirt – relatively smooth, straight, and up hill. Dust is the only
problem. Options abound around Yea so expect the unexpected, but wherever he
leads, the roads are great. Expect around 350 km.
Sunday 28th Blackwood Wayne Grant leading
10.15 am Whittlesea
This ride would suit a
pillion. Wayne conducts his rides at a less frenetic pace than some, and
chooses the more open country roads in preference to tight and twisty ones. I
expect we’ll find ourselves in Kyneton for morning tea via Kilmore and Wandong.
Scenic and leisurely. A short time later we will have worked our way south to
Blackwood, though lunch could be at Daylesford, a thriving country town .
Expect to break up Diggers Rest after around 250 km.
