Easter
comes early this year and the Club has decided to have two day-rides rather
than one poorly attended weekend ride. So, follow Geoff as he leads us west to Ballarat and beyond to SnakeValley.
Beware of the changeable weather and carry wet weather clothing. One time we
all nearly froze to death when the weather changed from a hot 25 deg to a
freezing hail storm and torrential rain. Expect 400 km.

The
starting point almost dictates the route and so it is via Powelltown
and Drouin (morning tea, 110 km) that we make our way
south to Inverloch for lunch. Spectacular views of
the sea as we head along the Loch road; fast, unforgiving sweepers around the
rugged coastline from Wonthaggi, and then northwards
to Mirboo and Trafalgar along roads seemingly
designed to suit large capacity sport bikes. Home via the highway or back to
